The hot-dip galvanizing process of hot-dip galvanized steel grating is to take out the steel parts by immersing them in the molten zinc solution for a corresponding time after degreasing, pickling, dipping and drying. Before the hot-dip galvanizing process, the surface of the hot-dip galvanized steel grating should be dry, and no aqueous solution or other moisture should remain. After the hot dip galvanizing process, the surface should be smooth, free of lumps, roughness and zinc thorns, no peeling, and no residual solution slag. The zinc bath used for hot-dip galvanizing is mainly composed of molten zinc liquid, and the total content of impurities (other than iron and tin) in the molten zinc liquid should not be higher than 1.5% of the total mass.
The effect of hot-dip galvanized steel grating is different from that of galvanized waste: the surface of hot-dip galvanized is not as delicate and bright as cold-galvanized, but the thickness of hot-dip galvanized is dozens of times that of cold-galvanized. The corrosion resistance is also dozens of times that of electro-galvanized. The environmental protection value of hot-dip galvanized steel grating is better. The pollutants of hot-dip galvanized steel are mainly the waste acid of pickling steel parts. The pollutants of cold galvanizing include waste acid of pickling steel, waste electroplating solution, waste passivation solution, etc.
